About Us

Shri Sant Gadgebaba Seva Sansthan (SSGSS Foundation) is a dynamic and service-driven non-governmental organization rooted in the values of humanity, equality, and social justice. Established in 2001, the foundation was born out of a deep commitment to uplift the underprivileged sections of society, particularly women, children, and marginalized rural communities.

Inspired by the teachings and philosophy of the great social reformer Sant Gadgebaba, the organization carries forward a legacy of selfless service, compassion, and grassroots transformation. Sant Gadgebaba’s life was dedicated to eradicating social evils, promoting cleanliness, and serving humanity without discrimination. SSGSS Foundation embodies these principles in every initiative it undertakes.

Based in the tribal-dominated region of Desaiganj (Wadsa) in Gadchiroli district, the organization operates in one of the most underserved and socio-economically challenged areas of India. Despite geographical and infrastructural barriers, SSGSS has consistently worked to bridge the gap between marginalized communities and access to essential services.

Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Chandrashekhar Nanaji Bambole (Secretary & Chief Functionary), the organization has grown into a structured and impact-oriented institution. His leadership reflects a deep understanding of grassroots challenges combined with strategic thinking to implement scalable and sustainable solutions.

Over the years, SSGSS Foundation has evolved from a local initiative into a recognized charitable trust with national credibility and international outlook, focusing on long-term social transformation rather than short-term relief.
